PrickWax tattoo aftercare is all natural, meaning we only include products found in nature, products you can pronounce and are familiar with.

PrickWax tattoo aftercare contains no perfumes or dyes, not even those approved by the FDA.
We feel that certain ingredients may slow the healing process of tattoos, causing dryness, and scabbing.  For example, alcohol, tea tree oil and citrus can be too harsh and can cause drying of the skin, therefore we don`t recommend them for use during the healing process.

Products that contain or are derived from petroleum tend to clog skin pores which would not allow the tattoo to "breathe" and heal naturally. Would you ever put a layer of petroleum on your face? Well...yea, okay, *YOU* might... but we don`t recommend it unless you enjoy a gooey mess and clogged pores. Even some supposedly safe dyes have been known to cause allergic reactions in some individuals. There are always natural alternatives! Read their labels, then read ours -- if we can`t pronounce it (and that`s a pretty simple test for us) or aren`t already familiar with it, we won`t use it in our products! PrickWax tattoo aftercare ingredients are nature-based and, in our opinion, do the same (if not better!) job as our chemical-laden competitors` products...
