Why a tattoo kit?

Tattoo kits offer a benefit to many professional tattoo artists. While it is assumed that most tattoo shops are completely configured for all their professional requirements it is still recommended to have a tattoo kit for use in extenuating circumstances.

For starters, they're terrific for apprentices - no need to start handing down pieces of your prized tattoo machine collection to someone that you hasn't the appreciation nor proven dedication as you. If something goes wrong with the machine while its in their possession, you almost don't know whether to replace it or take it back - but at that point it's too late; the damage is done.
All tattoo kits come complete with the basics:

• digital power supply
• tattoo machine(s)
• tattoo needles
• tattoo ink
• footpedal
• clipcord
• ink cups
• ink cup holder
• tattoo grips

Other kits are 'built up' from there, all the way up to our 'shop in a box' package complete with ultrasonic cleaner and autoclave!

For the seasoned professional kits are terrific for their convenience. How often have you attended a convention and spent 3 days selecting and packing everything you think you're going to need at your booth, only to find out you forgot to pack your tattoo machines because you were still using them at the shop the night before? This way, you can keep it stored safely in the shop, packed and ready to roll when you are. The only thing you need to think about is what assortment of tattoo needles to bring along. Been invited as a guest artist at your friend's shop? Bring your kit! All pieces (grips, machines, tips) are held safely in place using custom cut high density foam for ease of storage and protection of your equipment.
